ROCK SPRINGS – Students who are interested in dinosaurs and other prehistoric fossils, and who would like to learn more about the process of paleontological research, can take Western’s new, three-credit evening course, Principles of Paleontology (GEOL 250), with Associate Professor of Anthropology and Geology Dana L. Pertermann, on Monday and Wednesday evenings this spring.
“I am very excited to be able to offer Principles of Paleontology at Western,” Pertermann said. “This course will be of interest to anyone wanting to know more about fossils and Wyoming’s unique geologic heritage.”
The class meets from 5:30 – 6:50 p.m. in the Geology lab beginning Wednesday, Jan. 18, and concluding Wednesday, May 10. See the complete Spring 2017 Schedule of Classes for details.
