#LOCAL HEROES: Jaedyn Santhuff

10-year-old Jaedyn Santhuff has taken it upon herself to sew masks to help protect the community during COVID-19.

Jaedyn Santhuff, a 10-year-old Green River native, took it upon herself to sew masks for members of the community to help keep them protected during the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.

Jaedyn has been sewing for two years and she is happy to be able to use her skills for the greater good of the community. She has made over 30 masks so far and continues to sew more. When she isn’t sewing, she is doing her schooling online, baking and doing other hobbies and catching up with friends virtually.

In these challenging times, it’s great to know we have amazing youth like Jaedyn who have found ways to look after their community. Jaedyn is a talented and generous girl, and she reminds us of the incredible people in this community. It’s people like Jaedyn who make Sweetwater County a special place.
