GREEN RIVER — Do you want to take a look at your future or find out what your handwriting says about you? If you do, then stop by the Sweetwater County Library System’s semi-annual Metaphysical Fair.
The Metaphysical Fair is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3 at the Sweetwater County Library, 300 N. 1st East, Green River.
Booths at the fair will feature tarot readings, dream interpretation, reiki energy work, handwriting analysis, nameology, essential oils and massage, intuitive readings, and a haunted library Q and A.
The term “metaphysical” describes things that are thought to exist but cannot be seen. “The purpose of this event is to provide patrons an introduction to various methods of divination and self-awareness as a way of affecting personal growth and positive change in their lives,” said Reference Specialist Bianca Jorgensen, who is organizing the event.
“The services being offered and the skills that can be learned from this event can help to reduce stress and improve the quality of life for those who implement them,” Jorgensen said.
The library has hosted the Metaphysical Fair for several years, and has been offering it semi-annually for the past several years.
The Metaphysical Fair is a free event for those 14 and older. No registration is required.
This event is sponsored by the Sweetwater County Library System. For information on other library events and services, drop by any Sweetwater County Library System location, visit the library system online or follow the library system on Facebook.
