Multiple Agency Search Warrant Yields Felony Amounts of Methamphetamine

According to RSPD Chief Dwane Pacheco:

ROCK SPRINGS – On the evening of March 31, 2016 a multi-agency drug suppression operation was conducted at 50 Reliance Road. The operation recovered felony amounts of methamphetamine as well as drug related paraphernalia. Two arrests were made.

Detectives from the Rock Springs Police Street Crimes Unit (SCU), along with Sweetwater Sheriff’s Office Sheriff’s Narcotics and Arrest Group (SNAAG), and Special Agents of the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) executed a Search and Seizure Warrant operation at 50 Reliance Road #66. Two persons were located in the house at the time the time the operation was initiated, with both being arrested for drug related offenses.

During the course of the search operation smoking devices for marijuana and methamphetamine were located as well as a baggie containing felony amounts of methamphetamine.

 

Steven Workman (56) of Rock Springs was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine (felony), Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana, and Use of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.

 

 

Patricia Candelaria (50) was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and Marijuana, as well as Use of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.

Both persons were incarcerated at the Sweetwater County Detention Facility. All persons are innocent until proven guilty in court.
