GREEN RIVER — According to Chief Dwane Pacheco the Honorable Circuit Court Judge Prokos authorized a narcotics related search warrant for a residence at 40 South 4th West in Green River, WY after an investigation indicated illegal drug activity was taking place there.

On July 6, 2015 at approximately 5:30 pm, Detectives from the Rock Springs Police Department Street Crimes Unit along with, Green River Police Department Detectives and DCI-SWET Agents executed the above mentioned warrant. Connie F. Hanks, 61 of Green River, was located in the residence.

A search of the property revealed approximately 1.5g of methamphetamine and associated paraphernalia.

Connie F. Hanks was placed under arrest for possession of methamphetamine and incarcerated at the Sweetwater County Detention Center.

All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
