The Lady Wolves continued to build their undefeated conference record with a 77-37 win. After building an impressive 26-12 lead in the first quarter, the red hot Lady Wolves didn’t look back. Monday night’s game proved to be a shooting clinic for Green River. The Lady Wolves also forced plenty of Riverton turnovers which padded the scoreboard in their favor.

The 40-point victory was also another milestone for head coach Rick Carroll who coached his 700th game on Monday night.

Wolves 78 Wolverines 64

The Wolves bounced back strong after a three-overtime loss on the road in Evanston last weekend. Green River earned a 78-64 win over Riverton in a head-to-head battle through all four quarters.

A tied 16-16 score in the first quarter was soon forgotten as Green River took the lead going into halftime. The Wolves maintained the lead throughout the second half despite Riverton’s efforts to keep the deficit close. The Wolves eventually pulled away in the fourth quarter to claim the home victory.

The Wolves now improve to 7-13 on the year and 2-3 in conference play.
