GREEN RIVER — Students, parents and faculty gathered to watch the Green River Wolves take on the Powell Panthers on Friday night during the homecoming football game.
The Wolves played a strong first half, forcing four turnovers and only trailed by a point at halftime. In the second half, Green River failed to stop the rushing attack from the Panthers and didn’t find much success moving the ball. The Panthers sealed the deal in the fourth quarter, defeating Green River 44-20.
At halftime, the cheer and dance teams performed along with the marching band who played a Michael Jackson tribute.
