ROCK SPRINGS — Pinwheels were recently placed in front of the Rock Springs Head Start facility to remind residents to help prevent child abuse in America.
Earlier this week, Sue McGuire, chairman of Juniors’ Special Programs for the Woman’s Club of Rock Springs, which is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, put pinwheels in front of Head Start facility.
According to Head Start, Prevent Child Abuse America is encouraging residents to put out blue and silver pinwheels as part of a campaign to promote a world where all children grow up happy, healthy and prepared to succeed in supportive families and communities.
These pinwheels will be in front of the Head Start building throughout April.
