Rain and Snow in Higher Elevation Coming Friday

Clear traveling along Interstate 80 this afternoon will give way to high impact weather conditions beginning tomorrow evening and could possibly last until Sunday morning.

CHEYENNE — Some much needed moisture is on the way to western Wyoming Friday afternoon and Saturday as a spring snowstorm will start making its way toward us tomorrow afternoon.

Unfortunately it looks like this storm will also bring high winds and blizzard like conditions along Interstate 80 that will create slick and strong blow-over risk conditions.

Travelers can expect snow, blowing snow, slick road and poor visibility through most of west and southern Wyoming at least until Saturday afternoon and into Sunday morning.
