ROCK SPRINGS– The Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for Rock Springs Community Health Center on Tuesday.
Rock Springs Community Health Center provides a variety of services including family medicine, OB/GYN, behavioral health, dental, and they have a full pharmacy that patients of the clinic can use as well as non-patients.
Accessibility to Health Care
The clinic provides health care for all individuals regardless of their income.
“The mission we have is to create accessibility to all individuals in the community, whether they have insurance, or whether they do not,” Steve Mackley, Bear Lake Community Health Center Business Development Director said.
“We have a sliding scale fee that, depending on their family or income size, they can be eligible to receive services for as low as $15,” he said.
The health center also accept all insurances, allowing anyone to receive services.
“We’re the place of choice. And we look for the providers and staff member that are at the top of their field,” Mackley said.
About the Bear Lake Community Health Centers
The center in Rock Springs is Bear Lake Community Health Center’s eighth clinic. Their first clinic is in Garden City, Utah. They also have three clinics in the Cache Valley in Utah, one in Montpelier, Idaho, one in Brigham City, Utah, and one in Evanston, Wyoming.
They are excited to have this new facility in Rock Springs.
“We’re ready to blossom out and help everyone that we can,” Mackley said.
