Rock Springs Council to Hear Legislative Review at Tuesday Meeting

ROCK SPRINGS — A Wyoming Legislative update is among the agenda items on tap tonight during the Rock Springs City Council meeting which begins at 7 p.m. at City Hall.

Council will also consider seven resolutions this evening, including the approval of a contract with Brian Wishneff & Associates to serve as consultants for the purpose of obtaining and managing historical tax credits which will be used by the City for renovations on the First Security Bank Building.

According to a letter from BW&A Representative Adam Markwood to Mayor Tim Kaumo, his company has been able to secure more than $650 million in equity for its clients in 35 states since its inception 25 years ago.

Council will also hear reports from the Beautification and Tree Board, the Museum Board and the Parks and Recreation Board.

Public hearings will also take place for the renewal and transfer of two liquor licenses, and a presentation will be made for the St. Christopher’s Highway by Joyce Corcoran.
