ROCK SPRINGS – The city of Rock Springs prepared for more storms and flooding on Wednesday. Rock Springs Mayor Carl Demshar sent a message out Wednesday night to the residents of Rock Springs.

“At this time, the rain seems to have passed us by today or been minimal. If you have sand bags in place, please keep them secured through Friday as a precaution,” Demshar said. “More information will be posted if conditions change tonight or tomorrow morning. We want to give a big THANK YOU to all the citizens and businesses that have donated time, equipment, etc. to help during this weather disaster. It is great seeing how a community comes together and I am proud to call Rock Springs home.”
