ROCK SPRINGS — Residents whose homes experienced water damage between July 28 and August 1 resulting from flash flooding or from the heavy rain, are encouraged to fill out a form so the city can determine how extensive the damages are.
Recent heavy rains produced unexpected flash flooding in some areas of Rock Springs during the week of July 26. Many basements were flooded in the neighborhood near the west end of Reagan Avenue, as well as damage in the Blairtown area.
The Rock Springs City Council will address a “Declaration of Disaster and State of Emergency” at the August 3, Rock Springs City Council meeting.
