ROCK SPRINGS – Parents, students and staff of Sweetwater County School District No. 1  are gearing up for the start of school. Teachers will return to work on August 26th and students will start school on August 31st.

Here is important dates for Rock Springs High School and open houses which will take place around the district in the next two weeks.

August 18 Seniors 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Juniors 12:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.

August 19

Sophomores 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Freshman 12:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Open Houses

Black Butte High School will be holding their open house August 26th at 6 p.m.

Walnut Elementary will be holding Open House August 28th from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Kindergarten screening will be August 18-20 by appointment.

Northpark Elementary will be holding Meet the Teacher on August 28th from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Back to School night will be September 10th. More information on that will come home with students after the start of school.

Stagecoach Elementary will be holding their open house on Friday, August 28th from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Desert View will be holding their open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, August 28th.

Eastside Elementary will be hosting Back to School night on August 27th, at 6:30 p.m.

Pilot Butte Wildcat families, Back to School Open House is on August 27th from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Sage Elementary will have its open house Aug. 27 at 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Sage Gymnasium.

Farson-Eden

Farson-Eden will be having its first PTO meeting this coming Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the Eden park. They will be planning the Back to School BBQ. Bring kids and lunch for a fun time.
