SCSD No. 1 Reports 23 New COVID-19 Positive Cases, Stay-at-Home Orders Increase

ROCK SPRINGS — Sweetwater County School District (SCSD) No. 1 is reporting 23 new positive COVID-19 cases during the ninth week of school October 18-21. The district’s positive cases are down two and stay-at-home orders are up 36 from the previous week.

According to the most recent information posted on the ParentSquare App this afternoon from SCSD No. 1 Human Resources Director Nicole Bolton, 18 students and five employees were reported as new COVID-19 cases this week.

So far this year, the total known COVID-19 positive cases in District No. 1 has been 256 students and 53 employees. Since October 4, the district has had 193 students and one employee out on stay-at-home orders.
