CHEYENNE — The Wyoming Department of Transportation is reporting a spring snowstorm will impact the entire state, including travel conditions.
WYDOT is reporting that significant snow, reduced visibility and icy conditions will develop statewide by late Wednesday evening and will last through Thursday night.
Interstate 25 and I-80 will be impacted the most with snow, icy conditions and possibly blowing snow. WYDOT believes all of Wyoming’s roads, especially the mountain passes, will be impacted by the storm.
The heaviest snow will focus itself in the southeast portion of Wyoming, including I-25 and I-80. This will create very poor travel conditions in that portion of the state. However, lighter snowfall and poor driving conditions will also occur on the southwest portion of the state, including Sweetwater County.
