GREEN RIVER – Kalen Kester and Braden Reichl led the way for the Wolves while Kaisa Arnell and Eliza Morin all brought home top-ten finishes at last weekend’s Indoor Track State Championships.

Behind several strong finishes, the Wolves finished tenth overall. Kester just missed titles in two events for the Wolves. In the 55 meters, Kester posted a time of 6.66 to cross the line in third. He also jumped his way to a third-place finish in the long jump with a distance of 21-08.75.

The Wolves were also solid in the distance races with Reichl leading the way. In the 1600 meters, he finished in fourth with a time of 4:33.82. Reichl followed it was an eighth-place finish in the 3200 meters. Brayden Kovick just missed top ten finishes in both events coming in 11th in the 1600 and 13th in the 3200.

On the ladies side, Arnell scored a tenth-place finish in the 3200 meters with a time of 12:17.41. She just missed another top ten in the 1600 crossing the line in 15th.

Eliza Morin was among the top all season in the high jump. Her jump of 4-08.00 put her in eighth at state. Lauren Hoyt just missed a top ten in the long jump coming in 11th while Natasha Young finished 13th in the shot put.
