SWEETWATER COUNTY — Becky Arthur Gressette shared this video with us. It shows a contractor using a helicopter to string the conductor, also known as a power line by the public, the line will be used to transmit electricity between the Firehole substation and Simplot.
The helicopter work wrapped up on Wednesday.
The transmission line will span approximately seven miles. Construction began on the project in January and is expected to be completed by this summer.

The line is part of an ongoing expansion that involves the construction of a new ammonia plant adjacent to the existing facility. Click here to read about the expansion.
