Health & Wellness Testing
Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County will be hosting their annual Health & Wellness Testing for the public in March. Although Memorial Hospital offers mini-health fairs all year, the annual testing is set up to encourage the community to be aware of their health and learn that being proactive of your physical condition is important in staying healthy and living a full life.
The tests that are offered are: General Health Screening, Vitamin D, Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA), Thyroid Stimulating Hormone, Hemogram, and Hemoglobin. You can find out more details on the event microsite at HealthySweetwater.com
As they do each year, Memorial Hospital has partnered up with the Young at Heart Senior Center to provide testing for anyone 50 and older on March 17 from 6am to 8am. This testing will be done at the Senior Center and you can schedule your appointment by calling 307-352-6737.
For all individuals 18 and older, the annual Health & Wellness Testing will be provided on Thursday, March 12 & Friday, March 13 from 6am to 8am in the Memorial Hospital classrooms. For those dates, please call 307-362-MHSC for your appointment. (307-362-6472)
Health & Wellness Fair
Following the testing, Memorial Hospital will be hosting their annual Health Fair on March 28 from 9am to Noon. All of the community is welcome and it will include other community organizations to provide information regarding all aspects of health and overall well-being for employees, students, retirees and members of the community. There will also be free blood pressure and BMI testing.
