ROCK SPRINGS – In a message sent from Sweetwater County Public Nursing this evening, they remind the public that they are experiencing a surge in COVID-19 cases right now, upwards of 40 cases per day.

As it relates to contact tracing, they ask for your patience and will make every effort to contact you within 48-72 hours.

If you are a positive case or an exposed contact, you can find the information here on the Wyoming state website for what to do.

They ask that you please visit that link to answer your questions before calling, as their phone lines are overwhelmed.

If you are unable to find the information you seek from the state website, please send an email to covid19@sweet.wy.us and they will do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.

Thank you for your patience during this difficult time.
