ROCK SPRINGS – A search warrant executed on Wednesday led to the arrest of three individuals on drug-related charges.
According to Chief Pacheco:
On May 4th, 2016 around 9:45 p.m. Detectives of the Rock Springs Police Department Street Crimes Unit executed a Search Warrant at 413 Elias Ave Apartment #1.
Four people were located in the apartment at the time the search warrant was executed, three were arrested on drug related charges.
– Michael Barry Williams (27) (Homeless) was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine as well as for a Probation Violation
– Joshua Thomas Barnson (18) of Rock Springs was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana
– Jay Earl Barnson (44) of Rock Springs was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance- Marijuana, Methamphetamine, and Heroin, as well Use of a Controlled Substance- Marijuana, Heroin.
The search of the residence located small amounts of marijuana, methamphetamine, and heroin as well as items commonly used for the ingestions of controlled substances.
Bond had not been set at the time of the media release. All persons are innocent until proven guilty.
