CHEYENNE — The Wyoming Transportation Commission awarded three contracts for projects in the southwestern Wyoming region during its September meeting.

Of approximately $44.5 million in awarded contracts, $20.6 million was awarded to the region.

The Commission awarded a $19 million bid to Reiman Corp. of Cheyenne for six bridge replacement projects throughout Uinta County. The completion date for those projects is Oct. 31, 2028. This project was funded primarily through federal dollars distributed to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.

Reiman Corp. was also awarded a bid of $504,100 to repair a bridge on Wyoming Highway 78 over Interstate 80 in Carbon County. That project has a competition date of Dec. 15.

A third project bid of $1.1 million was awarded to Evans Construction Company of Jackson for salt and sand projects at locations in Uinta, Sublette, Lincoln, and Teton Counties.
