ROCK SPRINGS – A man was arrested for alleged possession of meth after a a routine traffic stop on Tuesday.
According to Chief Pacheco:
Around 6 p.m. on July 5, 2016, RSPD Officers conducted a traffic stop on M Street. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Kyle Dunfee (23) of Rock Springs. An investigation was conducted involving RSPD Street Crimes Unit Detectives, and SCSO K9 Team Deputy Brandy Dick and K9 Taz.
A search of the vehicle was conducted after the K9 team alerted to the presence of illegal drugs in the vehicle. One syringe containing methamphetamine was located in the vehicle during the search.
Kyle Dunfee was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine and incarcerated at the Sweetwater County Detention Facility without incident.
