BIG PINEY — Two Big Piney residents have died in the last three days. One death appears to be natural causes while the other is being investigated.

At approximately 5:30 pm on August 31, 2015, the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a male who had passed away at a residence in Big Piney.  Deputies and EMS immediately responded to the residence where they located Edward Lewis (80), who was pronounced dead.

It appears that Mr. Lewis passed away from natural causes.

The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office offers their condolences to the friends and family of Mr. Lewis.

At approximately 7:30 a.m. on September 2, the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office received a call of an unresponsive male subject at an address in Big Piney. Deputies and EMS immediately responded to the residence where they located the body of 40-year-old Michael Cahill. Cahill was pronounced dead at the scene.

His death is under investigation by the SCSO.
