ROCK SPRINGS — This morning, an amendment to Abandoned Mine Land bill SF 40 that included the Bitter Creek reclamation project successfully passed its second reading in the House.

Sen. Bernadine Craft, D-Sweetwater County, said the bill now has to survive its third and final reading tomorrow and then make it through the conference committee. She called today’s passing a major step towards completion.
