SWEETWATER COUNTY – The Rock Springs and Green River soccer squads have a busy week of soccer and it all starts as they face each other on Tuesday.
The Tigers will travel to Green River to take the field at 3 p.m. They will be looking to get back on the winning track but have a tough test as Green River has been putting away the competition since suffering its first loss at their tournament early in the season.
The girls will also face off in Green River starting at 5 p.m. The Lady Tigers have had two solid games including a win and a tie in their last two. They will have a tough task as they try to beat the unbeaten Lady Wolves who are coming off a big win against No. 5 Natrona over the weekend.
On Thursday, the Green River teams will travel to Evanston for another conference match-up. They do not have any weekend games this week.
The Lady Tigers will be on the road both Friday and Saturday as they make the Casper swing facing Kelly Walsh and Natrona. Both Casper girl’s teams are coming off losses after traveling to Green River over the weekend. Natrona was beat soundly by the Lady Wolves while it took overtime for Green River to beat Kelly Walsh.
The Tigers will have it a little easier as they will be home against the Casper Schools. Both the Kelly Walsh and Natrona boy’s squad were also beaten over the weekend by Green River, similar to the way the Lady Wolves won.
