ROCK SPRINGS — Whisler Chevrolet is helping the Jae Foundation in its mission to promote suicide awareness and regular “boot checks” with friends.

Whisler donated $5,286.80 it raised from its recent car show for the initiative.

The Jae Foundation was established in memory of Jae Bob Bing, a Pinedale resident who died by suicide in 2016. The foundation gives high school seniors free pairs of cowboy boots to encourage them to check in with each other through “boot checks.”
