UPDATE 10:00 am
According to Rocky Mountain Power a transmission interruption impacting 5,802 customers in Southwest Wyoming is estimated to be fixed around 1:00 pm today.
Crews are onsite and repairs are underway.
UPDATE 6:30 a.m. January 25th, 2014
KEMMERER – According to Sublette County Emergency Managment the agency has received an update from Rocky Mtn Power; crews were able to find a switch had burned out in the Kemmerer area.
LaBarge has their power restored.
RMP Crews are diligently working to resolve the situation. The agency was given a 9:00 am time frame for full power to be returned this morning.
According to an official post on the agencies Facebook page if residents are experiencing any medical problems due to the outage please call the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office at 307-367-4378 and we’ll help you any way we can.

KEMMERER – According to a Facebook message issued by Sublette County Emergency Managment on Jan 25, 2014 at 4:36 am Sublette County is experiencing a widespread power outage. Power has been interrupted somewhere between Labarge and Kemmerer. Rocky Mtn. Power is trying to locate the cause at this time. Bondurant is the only community that continues to have power as they get their feed from Lower Valley Electric.
Areas affected are: Labarge, Big Piney, Marbleton, Daniel, Cora, Kendall Valley, Pinedale and Boulder.
Fire and EMS are aware of the situation and available for response activities.
Residents having any special needs are asked to call the Sublette County Sheriff’s office. 307-367-4378.
We are setting up possible shelter locations if the need arises.
