GREEN RIVER — In the first matchup of the season between the Rock Springs High School Tigers and Green River High School Wolves, it was the Wolves who came out on top in both the boys and girls games.
The Lady Wolves battled it out in the first game of the night against the Lady Tigers, earning the victory 63-33. A full-court press defense by Green River gave Rock Springs trouble. Combined with efficient shooting from the field, the Lady Wolves ran away with the 30 point victory, improving to 8-3 on the season.

The second and final game featuring the Wolves and Tigers was a classic matchup that came down to the final minutes of the game. Exchanging leads several times throughout the game, both teams went into the fourth quarter looking to come away victorious. Green River found a way to hang on to a lead, forcing a few turnovers and shooting sharp from the free-throw line. The Wolves went on to win 58-52, gaining their fourth win of the season.
