WAMSUTTER — The Wyoming Department of Transportation will be closing the westbound Interstate 80 off-ramp at Exit 173 in Wamsutter on Tuesday for roadway repairs. Maintenance crews will be paving damaged sections where the ramp meets the crossroad. Work will occur during daylight hours and is expected to wrap up the same day.

Westbound drivers heading to Wamsutter can detour by taking Exit 170, looping back onto eastbound I-80, and exiting at Wamsutter via Exit 173. WYDOT says the schedule is weather dependent and subject to change.
