Wyoming Braces for Snow Storm’s Predicted Travel Impacts

SWEETWATER COUNTY — Most of Wyoming is expected to be impacted by the snow storm expected to move into the area starting Wednesday, February 3.

According to the Wyoming Department of Transportation’s (WYDOT) impact forecast, the snow storm should start moving into the area tonight from west to east.

The initial impact is blowing snow and reduced visibility along Interstate 80, Interstate 25 and Interstate 90. The road conditions will then change to slick and black ice conditions as the storm progresses. Winds will also start to pick up across the state.
