1.5 Pounds of Marijuana Discovered By RSPD; Two Arrested

ROCK SPRINGS — According to a Rock Springs Police Department press release:

Chief Mike Lowell: On Monday November 10, 2014 at approximately 7:00 a.m., Officers from the Rock Springs Police Department (RSPD) executed a narcotics search warrant signed by the Honorable Circuit Court Judge Jones at the residence of 222 Gateway #29.

At the residence was 37 year old male Eron Simmons and 20 year old female Alison Lakey.

A search of the residence yielded approximately 1 ½ pounds of marijuana, bongs, pipes, baggies, scales, cash, and miscellaneous paraphernalia for marijuana.

Simmons was placed under arrest for being in possession of felony amounts of marijuana.

Lakey was placed under arrest for being in possession of felony amounts of marijuana.

This investigation was initiated by the Rock Springs Police Department Street Crimes Unit. Also assisting in the investigation was the Rock Springs Police Department Tactical Team as well as Officers and Detectives.

All subjects are innocent until proven guilty.
