GREEN RIVER – The Sweetwater County Board of Commissioners approved a contract with SkyWest Airlines and made the following board appointments at the June 18 meeting:

• Airport Board – Edward Decastro

• Board of Health – David Okano, DDS and Dr. Donald West

• Community Fine Arts Board – Brigida Blasi

• Library Board – Debbie Bullock

• Memorial Hospital Board – Joseph Manatos

• Museum Board – Stan McKee

• Parks and Recreation Board – Dr. Shelly Wahl

• Planning and Zoning Board – Randy Hansen and Island Richards

• Predatory Animal Board – Eric Berg

• Solid Waste District #2 Board (Bairoil) – Lowell Clawson, Craig Davidson and Dean Switzer

• Eden Solid Waste District Board – Robert Baldwin

• Southwest Counseling Board – Bridget Giovale, Richard Craver, Connie Hollin and Danielle Moore

The commission took no action regarding a vacancy on the STAR Transit Board as no one submitted an application. The commissioners encouraged qualified residents to apply for the position.

The SkyWest contract will be available to the media and public on June 18.
