WYDOT Advising Travelers of Upcoming Road Work in Cheyenne

CHEYENNE – The Wyoming Department of Transportation advises travelers in Cheyenne that on Monday, August 10, traffic control will be in place to support a road project on Lincolnway Ave. between House and and Capitol Avenues.

The work will begin with replacing damaged curb and gutter sections, replacing sidewalks on the corners, and replacing concrete slabs in the roadway itself. This concrete work will require single lane closures and is scheduled to be completed by September 4.

The second phase of the project will place a thin overlay on the roadway between Capitol Ave. and House Ave. Preparation for the overlay will require milling adjacent to the curb and gutter to establish a smooth transition. This phase will also require traffic control in the work zone.
