Able Hands Named September Volunteers of the Month

ROCK SPRINGS – The Organization Committee of the Rock Springs Main Street/URA is pleased to announce their September Volunteers of the Month – Able Hands.

The staff and clients at Able Hands have been invaluable all summer long. With City budget cuts, the downtown flower pots were in jeopardy of not being maintained this past summer. The crew at Able Hands stepped up to handle watering the plants every day as well as emptying downtown trash cans on a regular basis.  Because of their efforts, the planters flourished.

According to Gordon “Max” Mickelson, owner of Able Hands, “We are a service organization serving Sweetwater County and the surrounding areas.  When presented with an opportunity to support our community, especially when our community has been tremendously supportive of us, was a huge honor. We are grateful to our community for the many supports provided us and for the opportunities for us to support it.”
