Your next fuzzy family member could be at a Sweetwater County animal shelter.
Each week, we highlight the Pets of the Week currently available at local shelters.
This week, we are highlighting pets at Green River Animal Shelter. It’s the perfect time to add a member to your forever family.
Cleo
Hello there, my name is Cleo and I’m a three-year-old catahoula leopard dog/golden retriever girl. I know how to sit, shake and I have good recall. I love going camping and after exploring the area for a bit, I will stay by your side. I do great with other dogs and kids, but the shelter doesn’t know how I do with cats.
I’m already spayed, up to date on my vaccines, crate trained and house trained. I came to the shelter with my brother Kyle and we have been looking for a forever home ever since but we don’t have to be adopted together.

Sunny
Hi there! I’m Sunny a five-year-old boy that came into the shelter as a stray. I am a very big boy and one of the friendliest cats the shelter has right now. I love to snuggle under blankets and love any attention. They aren’t sure how I am with other cats or dogs yet.
I’m up to date on my vaccines, neutered and ready to find my forever home. If you want a cat that is just a ray of sunshine, come visit me at the Green River Animal Shelter today!
Kyle
Hi there, I’m Kyle, a three-year-old catahoula leopard/golden retriever mix boy. I know how to sit, shake, and I have a good recall. I’m great with kids and other dogs and will take treats nicely from you. Just like my sister Cleo, I love to go camping. I am house trained and didn’t mark at my previous owners house, but I am at the shelter. After getting neutered and with a little training, I shouldn’t be marking anymore.
I’m also crate trained and up to date on all my vaccines. If you are looking for a dog with a fun, goofy personality, come visit me and my sister at the Green River Animal Shelter and help me find my forever home.
