Christine Rae Fisher of Andrews, Texas, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 53 at Sandoval Regional Medical Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, September 21, 2021.

Chris was a former resident of Rawlins, Rock Springs, and Green River, Wyoming. She married her
soulmate Michael Fisher August 28, 2009. She was a dedicated Wife, Mother, Nana, Daughter, Sister,
Auntie and Friend. She loved all her nieces and nephews as if they were here own.

Chris was born to Gerald and Paula Leturgey October 15, 1967, in Altoona PA. She was a graduate of Hanna Elk Mountain High school class of 1985 where she formed lifelong friendships.

Family bonds were most important to Chris. To know her was to love her, and if she loved you there was never a doubt because she loved with everything she had and then some. Being Nana was one of Chris’ greatest joys in life. Her and her husband were always taking their beloved granddaughters on adventures, where they made countless precious memories. Along with traveling, she particularly enjoyed spending time at the Flaming Gorge with her entire family, where they would camp and fish.

Most often she out fished everyone, and made it known that she did. She had a love for the outdoors and loved going up in the mountains with all of us, we think she loved being closer to what she would describe as a heavenly view.

Blessed with a green thumb, Chris had a passion for gardening. Her and her husband Michael took great pride in their beautiful yard, edged with the most magnificent flowers.

Chris was preceded in death by her grandparents, mother Paula Leturgey, second mother, Katherin Leturgey, and father-in-law David Fisher.

Chris is survived by her father, Gerald Leturgey of Rock Springs, Wy; daughter Sarah Hejduk of Andrews, Texas; son Shane Hejduk of Tulsa, Ok; husband Michael Fisher of Evanston, Wy, but resides in
Andrews, Texas; mother in law Inge Fisher of Evanston, Wy; brothers Jerry Leturgey Jr and wife Nichole of Rock Springs Wy, Paul PJ Leturgey of Rock Springs Wy, Sean Nyland and wife Alicia of Phoenix Az; sisters Holly Morgan and husband Tim of Rock Springs, Cathleen Daniels of Glenrock, Wy, Chrissy Paulding and husband Nick of Rock Springs, Wy; granddaughters Ember Rae and Addison Rayne
Hejduk of Andrews, Texas; best friend Connie Lipsett of Keensberg, Co; several nieces and nephews.

The family is planning a private memorial following cremation on Tuesday, September 28, 2021.
