ROCK SPRINGS – David Jesse Harvey, 64, of Rock Springs, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born on January 7, 1950 in Powell, Wyoming, the son of the late Jesse and Jacque Harvey. Mr. Harvey attended school in Powell, Wyoming and graduated in 1968 from the Powell High School. He married Carol Anderson in Cowley, Wyoming on September 12, 1969. Mr. Harvey was employed at Knight Oil Company as the District Manager and retired on July 25, 2014.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
His interests included fishing, hunting, woodworking, golfing, telling jokes. He loved spending time with his family and playing tennis with his grandson Jesse.
He is survived by his wife Carol Harvey of Rock Springs, Wyoming; two sons Flint Harvey and wife Coleen of Cody, Wyoming and Heath Harvey and wife Lindsey of Heber City, Utah; one daughter Heather Cordova and husband Isaac of Casper, Wyoming; one brother Terry Harvey and wife Kimerie of Billings, Montana; two sisters Kay Hovey of Basin, Wyoming and Judy McDonald of Powell, Wyoming; four grandchildren Jesse, Kalea, McKenzie, and Morgan; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Following cremation, memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, September 12, at the L.D.S. Chapel, 525 West 7th Street, Powell, Wyoming. Graveside Services and inurnment will be in the Powell Cemetery.
