SALT LAKE CITY — David Ralph Jones “Jonesie” Our beloved Father, grandfather, brother and friend passed away Oct 5th, 2014.

Dave was born on June 5th, 1957 in Salt Lake City, UT to Ralph and Betty (Mole) Jones.

He was fortunate to have a second father Bill Greatorex; he was a great influence wonderful friend and loving dad to Dave.

Dave was one of a kind; he put his heart and soul into everything he did. If he wasn’t tending to his beautiful garden and yard or creating a gourmet meal you could find him out at the lake fishing. He lived life to the fullest, whether it be camping, skiing, hunting, spending time with his family or traveling he made every experience memorable. Dave was so proud of his career at Simplot where he was employed for 35 years.

He leaves behind one son, four daughters, twelve adorable grandchildren, and one sister who all loved him dearly. Candon Jones and Kristi Terry, Kortney and Randy Clark, Karissa Morris, Kamee and Tyler Jensen, Lexie and Jason Rock, Sue and Randy Bell.

Dave was preceded in death by parents Ralph, Betty and Bill. And Sister Kathy Simpson.

A private service will be held to celebrate his life. “Fish on, Papa David”
