Another unseasonably warm day across the Cowboy State today. Skies will be mostly cloudy from Yellowstone to Cheyenne, as a plume of Pacific moisture encroaches across the state. Partly cloudy skies will occur over the Big Horn and Wind River basins, as well as Johnson and Natrona counties. Thursday will be the last day of this Indian Summer as a Pacific storm system begins to impact the region Friday into Saturday. This system is expected to bring widespread precipitation to the Cowboy State, with significant snowfall accumulating above 9500 feet.
