TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF.
I am the Health Services Manager at SCSD#1 Head Start where I will soon begin my twentieth school year. I make sure all the children are up to date on the health care, plan meals and coordinate mental health services. I have cared for nearly 2000 Sweetwater County children.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU LIVED IN SWEETWATER COUNTY?
My parents and grandparents all grew up in Rock Springs. When I was very young we moved to Jackson, WY where I grew up and graduated. I spent many summers and holidays here and longed to return when I grew up. I returned in 1985 and have loved every minute of my time here.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO OR SOMETHING UNIQUE ABOUT YOU?
I love reading, the outdoors and volunteering for the Rock Springs Urban Renewal Agency.
WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE BEST PART OF LIVING IN SWEETWATER COUNTY?
Without a doubt the people! The flooding last month proved that when their neighbors are in need Sweetwater County residents step up and help one another.
WHAT IS ONE TIP OR LIFE LESSON YOU HAVE LEARNED THAT YOU ARE WILLING TO SHARE?
Don’t take things personally. If a store clerk, for example, is being rude or abrasive that speaks to who they are. Smile and wish them a wonderful day, that speaks volumes about who YOU are. None of us have the time or energy to waste being angry or negative.
