Fossey Finishes Fourth at State Cross Country

ETHETE — The Rock Springs cross country team competed in the 4A Cross Country Championships over the weekend in Ethete.

Rock Springs’ own Charles Fossey finished off an impressive season with a fourth place finish at the championships. He recorded a final time of 16:30.99, which was 20 seconds outside of the first place time.

Tigers other placers were Ethan Sholey who finished 48th with a time of 18:08.06. Quinten Gasaway came in 68th, followed by Deegan Smith in 72, Dailen Pedersen in 73rd, Kevin MIthcell in 80th and Ben Bae in 82nd.

As a team, Rock Springs came in 10th with 265 points.

On the girls side, the Lady Tigers had one top 25 finisher in Aubrielle Maes who took 25th overall with a time of 20:56.41. Hadley Banks finished 70th with a time of 24:56.51.
