ROCK SPRINGS – Members of the OCI Mine Rescue Team tackle the obstacle course that is part of a simulated rescue of two young boys and a dog trapped in an old mine. The participating teams had to find the training facility after being paged out. On arrival they had to gain access to the trapped boys all the while dealing with unexpected hazards and a panicking mother. The event took place on the second day of the Southwest Wyoming Mutual Aid Surface Rescue Competition being hosted at the Sweetwater County Events Complex.
