ROCK SPRINGS – As the election draws closer, have you thought about who you are going to vote for? The Sweetwater Library Systems is providing an opportunity for residents to learn more about the candidates with two upcoming forums.

On Aug. 7 at 6 p.m., candidates who are running for Sweetwater County Attorney will take center stage. The forum will take place at the White Mountain Library in Rock Springs. Those running to be the next Sweetwater County Attorney are Democrat Bob Reese, Republican Daniel Erramouspe and Republican Robert Hiatt Jr. There will be a new county attorney as current county attorney Brett Johnson announced he would not seek re-election.

On Aug. 11 at 6 p.m. the candidates for Sweetwater County Sheriff will be in the spotlight. The forum will also be at the White Mountain Library. Those running for the office include incumbent Republican Richard Haskell, Republican John Jay Henning, Republican Lee Hughs, Republican Ken Yager and Democrats Delbert Gray and Mike Lowell.
