EVANSTON — Gloria Ann Reyes Smith, 52, of Evanston, Wyoming passed away on Monday, February 17, 2014 at her home in Evanston, Wyoming. A resident of Evanston, Wyoming for the past one year and former resident of Green River, Wyoming, Mrs. Smith died following a battle with cancer.
She was born on April 18, 1961 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, the daughter of the late Edwardo and Martha Williams.
Mrs. Smith attended schools in Green River, Wyoming.
She married Glen Smith in August of 2013 in Evanston, Wyoming.
Mrs. Smith worked as a CNA at Castle Rock Convalescent Center and at Home Health.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Her interests included spending time with her husband and family, trips to Wendover, talking on the phone and dining out with her family and the computer.
Survivors include her husband Glen Smith of Evanston, Wyoming; one son David Williams of Green River, Wyoming; one daughter Angela Reyes Miller and husband James of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one brother Edward Paul Williams and wife Mary of Green River, Wyoming; one sister Esther Martinez and husband Elmer of Alburquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren Gracie, Anthony, Adrian, Damien, Andrew, Selena, Charlie and Ronee; three nieces Andrea, Erika, Monica; seven nephews Adam, Christopher, Joseph, Stephen, Ryan, Matthew, Jean Paul; dear friends Mary Maestas, Pat Nix and Judy Laughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Following cremation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 P.M. Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 900 Hitching Post Drive, Green River, Wyoming. A vigil service with rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday at the church. Friends may call one hour prior to the rosary and on Friday one hour prior to services.
