GREEN RIVER — The Golden Hour Senior Center has informed us that it will be following the recommendations made at the federal, state and local levels and must be prepared for the possibility of the COVID-19 outbreak in our community.

“We need to focus on the transmission of COVID-19 and reducing the chance of illness or death, especially amongst the most vulnerable populations,” Center Director Jackie Grubb said in a statement this morning.

EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY AND UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE:

Golden Hour Senior Center will be closed to all patrons, and all programs and activities have been canceled.

Home delivered meals and drive-through meals will continue to be available. Staff will continue to work to provide these services. If you have any questions, please contact them at 307-872-3223.
