GREEN RIVER — The Green River City Council moved its regular meeting to Thursday, Aug. 20 after the original date of the meeting fell on the night of the 2026 Wyoming primary election.

The council will hold a public hearing on the application to transfer ownership of a retail liquor license. According to council documents, the transfer would be from Maverik, Inc. to Maverik Group, LLC. The application involves only a change in ownership with no other changes to the license itself.

After the public hearing, the council will vote on approval of the transfer of the license.
