GREEN RIVER – With ghost, zombies and goblins ready to make an appearance, there are several family-fun activities throughout the month of October. On of the first happens this upcoming weekend.
On Oct. 11, the Green River Urban Renewal Agency/Main Street will host Trunk or Treat. The agency is looking for a few volunteer’s for this year’s event.
“We’re looking for businesses that might like to sponsor a fun kids game if you don’t want to decorate a truck,” the agency said. “We have some ideas if you’re interested.”
They are also looking for help with a decorating committee for the phone booth area and judges for the costume contest.
Trunk or Treat takes place on North 1st East Street and gets underway at 11 a.m. There will be a costume contest which will also include pets, goodies, a phone booth and games for the trunkers. It will wrap up at 1 p.m.
