The 2022 fall sports season in Sweetwater County is just around the corner. With practices underway and game days approaching quickly, we’ve put together a preview for each team in Sweetwater County.

In preparation for the start of the season, we’ve gathered general information such as last year’s results, a few comments from the head coach and every team’s schedule.

GRHS Tennis Overview

Head Coach: Phillip Harder – 12th year as Head Coach

2021 Results: Boys team regional champions, 6th place at state. Girls were regional runner-ups and 5th place at state.

Returning Varsity Players: Brianna Strauss (Junior), Hannah Skinner (Junior), Braxton Cordova (Senior), Korbin Arnell (Senior), Taylon Tirrell (Senior), Zach Friel (Senior) and David Ross (Senior).


“Quite a few kids both upper and lower classmen got out over the summer and hit some tennis balls. Brianna Strauss playing singles for the first time will be fun to watch. Boys team has many players that will be competing for some hardware at regionals and state.”
