ROCK SPRINGS — Henry was born in Gary, Lake County, Indiana, to Delma Ray and Constance Emily (Hedge) Sweat.
He grew up in Rock Springs, Wyoming most of his life. Everyone called him Randy. Randy worked multiple jobs throughout his life.
He started in southern California as a supervisor for Kerker Industries in the early 1990″s. Later he designed, built, and placed boat docks throughout the United States.
He truly loved this job as he saw many beautiful new cities and towns. He then started laying fiber optic cable throughout the United States. This is where he met his wife Delores Tolar.
He married Delores in Hartshorne, Oklahoma on July
Randy retired in 2013, and he was loving it. Randy truly enjoyed crafting and camping, four wheeling and spending precious time with family members. Randy passed away at his home in Thomaston, Georgia at the age of 60 on January 17th, 2019.
Survivors include his wife Delores Sweat of Thomaston, GA; daughter Ashley Zbinden, son in law Matthew of McDonough, GA; two grandchildren, Luke and Evan Zbinden; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda Gunyan and Jim Guidotti of Cheyenne, WY; three brothers and daughters-in-law, David R. and Carolyn Sweat of Cheyenne, WY; Michael W. and Luella Sweat of Rock Springs, WY; Terry and Carol Sweat of Collins Wood, Ontario Canada; niece’s, Jennie (Sweat) Wilson, husband Kris of Fort Collins, CO; Victoria and Veronica Gunyan of Cheyenne, WY; nephews Reid Rathbun, wife Carol of Green River, WY; Nolan Rathbun of Fort Collins CO; cousin Victor Sweat of Hartshorne, OK; uncles, Louie Sweat of Morago, CA; J.N. Sweat of Bakersfield, CA; George Sweat of Clear Lake, CA; aunt, Thelma Fay Brixey of Bakersfield, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents Delma R. Sweat and Constance E. Shake, his stepdad Howard Shake, grandparents Henry and Nettie Bell Sweat, twin sisters Michelle L. Sweat and Patricia L. Sweat, uncles, Eugene Sweat, Noble Sweat, Gilbert Sweat, and aunts, Henryetta Stone, Pauline Sweat, Willa May Snell, and Mary Sullivan. A celebration of life will be at a later date.
